1812+12
2012 was the 200th anniversary of the named Constitución de Cádiz, the first democratic constitution in Spain, commonly known as La Pepa. AC/E (Acción Cultural Española) commissioned to 30 Ibero-American artists the creation of a poster about this event for the exhibition 1812+12, curated by Jorge Díez. My poster reinterprets a portrait of Fernando VII made by Goya, a King who people recived crying “Long Life to the chains!”.
