LA PICONADORA (The Steamroller)

La Piconadora (the Streamroller) is a big size magazine printed by the mean  of a grass steamroller of 50 Kg. It is a project worthy of the madness and the enthousiasm of my dear friend and illustrator Clara-Iris Ramos, and made possible by the energy and the strong legs of the women  from Espai Brut, an illustrators collective from Barcelona.  It shows woodcuts by Pau Masiques, Olga Capdevila, La Modesta and L’Automàtica. Mine, in the front page, is a tribute to Idrissa Diallo, a young man detained and died in the CIE (Foreigner Internment Center) from Barcelona. He found death were he was trying to build his life.
